While Jim Bennett's Plumbing started in 1969 with one man, "a borrowed pick-up truck and no money," it has evolved over the years into the area's largest and best known plumbing company.

And luck had nothing to do with it.

"Number one, I'm a Christian and I give God the glory," says owner Jim Bennett. His second secret of success can be summed up in two words - customer service.

"I didn't set out to be the biggest plumbing contractor in Tallahassee, I set out to be the best plumbing contractor in Tallahassee. I believe our dedication to quality is what's enabled our company to grow. From the very beginning, we realized that quality is no accident. We work hard at it."

Today, Jim Bennett's Plumbing has a fleet of 28 trucks and a staff of highly qualified plumbing professionals available to provide installation, repair and service to commercial and residential customers throughout Leon County and surrounding areas.

"There's no job too big - or too small - for us to handle," says Bennett, and estimates are free. "While we do installations for some of the largest builders in town - like Advanced Builders and Remodelers - the homeowner with a broken water heater or a backed-up toilet is just as important.

Emergency service is available 24 hours a day and all plumbing work is warranted for at least 30 days.

Jim Bennett's Plumbing offers a complete selection of top-of-the-line name brand supplies and fixtures - everything from faucets to whirlpool tubs. The company also provides many special services such as septic tank and grease trap pumping, trenching and sewer replacement and backhoe service.

"My customers have never been the inconvenience of my business," Bennett says, "they're the reason for my business."
